The fact that also the left-wing scene does not seem to be free of assaultive male gangs is currently being discussed intensively - especially in those scene contexts that confront the concrete, often sexualized assaults with measures of Transformative Justice. In this workshop we will deal with the discrepancies between the claim and the reality of a radical subculture that defines itself as emancipatory, and the theses of various analysts of leftist racket structures.
The workshop will take place both online and on-site at Synnika - please register for participation by email to hello [at] synnika.space. The language of discussion is German (with English translation available).
Regression in der Subkultur
Das auch die Linke Szene nicht frei von übergriffigen Männerbünden zu sein scheint wird aktuell besonders in jenen Szenekontexten intensiv diskutiert, die den Anspruch verfolgen, den konkreten, oftmals sexualisierten Übergriffen mit Prozessen transformativer Gerechtigkeit beizukommen. Vor diesem Hintergrund wollen wir uns mit der Diskrepanz zwischen Anspruch und Realität einer sich als emanzipatorisch verstehenden Subkultur auseinandersetzen und in diesem Kontext auch die Thesen verschiedener Analytiker*innen linker Racket-Strukturen diskutieren.
