Over My Dead Body is the title of the upcoming Arts of the Working Class (AWC) fashion issue, to be published in March 2022. The street journal for art and society, poverty and wealth was founded in Berlin in 2018. Behind the Synnika frontal window the AWC editorial team is showing screen prints on recycled clothing as well as poster editions of previous magazine editions. In addition, AWC will use Synnika as an open project office for four months in order to establish a long-term journal distribution structure in Frankfurt am Main. Arts of the Working Class can be picked up free of charge at Synnika since summer 2021, the full amount of the revenue remains with the vendors. The newspaper will document the project in Frankfurt as well as announce the planned events and workshops.

 

Over My Dead Body ist der Titel der kommenden Mode-Ausgabe der Straßenzeitung Arts of the Working Class (AWC), die im März 2022 erscheint. Die Straßenzeitung wurde 2018 in Berlin gegründet und verhandelt Themen aus Kunst und Gesellschaft. Im Schaufenster des Synnika zeigt die AWC-Redaktion Siebdrucke auf recycelter Kleidung sowie Poster-Editionen der bisherigen Ausgaben. Zudem wird die Redaktion das Synnika für vier Monate als offenes Projektbüro nutzen um eine langfristige Vertriebsstruktur in Frankfurt am Main aufzubauen. Arts of the Working Class kann bereits seit Sommer 2021 kostenlos im Synnika abgeholt werden, der Verkaufsumsatz verbleibt in voller Höhe bei den Verkäufer*innen. Die Zeitung wird das Projekt in Frankfurt sowohl dokumentieren als auch die geplanten Veranstaltungen und Workshops bewerben.
