Release der Edition

On June 1, starting at 7 pm, Synnika will host a release event for the recently published Solidarity Art Edition "Fragmente gegen das Jetzt" (en. Fragments against the Current).

The edition was initiated by Jonas Höschl and thirtysixshots (Tim Erdmann & Christina Gotz), and published in cooperation with Synnika e.V. The two versions of A4-boxes gather fine art prints of 5 artists each. In total the edition is limited to 10 boxes of each set of artworks. Selling the editions serves the purpose of activating donations to Rote Hilfe e.V.

Rote Hilfe e.V. is a solidarity organization supporting individuals associated with left activism, who are subject to political repression. Its work is organized independent from the German party system, but centers around those suffering from criminalization in Germany. Rote Hilfe e.V. thus advocates for comrades in other countries, thereby aiming to support all who become a target in connection to their political activities, loose their job, are hauled before the courts, get convicted and sentenced.

 

In times when the public discourse compares environmental activists to nationalists, who arm themselves with the goal of society's disruption, it seems necessary to us to decriminalize emancipatory structures and to actively support them. For the edition we could win Donja Nasseri, Luise Marchand, Kai Ruhland, Marta Vovk, Avery Gia Sophie Schramm, Emma Adler, Jonas Fahrenberger and Ju Young Kim for their support with artworks.

Each of the two solidarity boxes priced at 500€ includes fine art prints by 5 artists. The edition is limited to a total of 10 of each set of artworks. All proceeds will be donated to Rote Hilfe e.V.

Am 1. Juni, ab 19 Uhr, veranstaltet Synnika eine Release-Veranstaltung für die kürzlich erschienene Soli-Edition "Fragmente gegen das Jetzt". 

Die Kunstedition erscheint auf Initiative von Jonas Höschl und thirtysixshots (Tim Erdmann & Christina Gotz) und in Kooperation mit Synnika e.V. Die A4-Boxen in zwei Varianten versammeln limitierte Editionsdrucke von je 5 Künstler*innen in einer Gesamtauflage von 10 Boxen je Set. Der Verkauf soll der Aktivierung von Spenden an Rote Hilfe e.V. dienen.

 

Die Rote Hilfe, ihrem Selbstverständnis nach eine "parteiunabhängige strömungsübergreifende linke Schutz- und Solidaritätsorganisation", ist ein Verein zur Unterstützung linker Aktivist*innen. In Zeiten in denen Umweltaktivist*innen im öffentlichen Diskurs mit sich bewaffnenden Nazis gleichgesetzt werden, erscheint es uns notwendig, emanzipatorische Strukturen zu entkriminalisieren und sie aktiv zu fördern. Für die Aktion konnten wir Donja Nasseri, Luise Marchand, Kai Ruhland, Marta Vovk, Avery Gia Sophie Schramm, Emma Adler, Jonas Fahrenberger und Ju Young Kim für ihre Unterstützung mit Kunstwerken gewinnen.

Jede der zwei Soli-Boxen kostet 500€ und umfasst 5 Editionsdrucke die auf eine Auflage von 10 Stück limitiert sind. Alle Einnahmen werden an den Rote Hilfe e.V. gespendet.
